Delay at the ATM saves man from boarding commercial bus involved in a fatal accident 35 minutes after take off (photos)... A Nigerian man has taken to his Facebook page to recount how a delay at the ATM saved him from entering a bus that was involved in a fatal accident that claimed 5 lives yesterday, May 20 th. The man, MC Paschal Obinna Drich, wrote I am posting this LIVE from Enugu Abakaliki expressway, am on my way to Urevene Amarachi2 in Ezza mgbo to #MC#Mr_Wiseman_TRADITIONAL_MARRIAGE..i would've enter this vehicle but I was delayed at the ATM only for me to return back and it's filled up.. I shouted and shouted for me to follow this bus but to no Avail so I had to wait for the next one.. Just in less than 35mins later I met this same bus at quarry Site Ezeilo in this condition with 5persons dead and a lot in bad shape just B/W Enugu to Abakaliki, what would've happened if that ATM at Holy Ghost mrk round about didn't delay..where I for Dey??

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has called for a review of Nigeria’s medical system so that doctors treat patients only in that aspect in which they have competence. Comrade Oshiomhole said wrong diagnoses could be prevented by governments if it provides robust regulation on the health system. The Federal Government has increased the monthly allowance of members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to 30,000. Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed disclosed this on Thursday in Abuja during a press conference where she added that the total sum of N649.434 billion was verified by the ministry as the outstanding balance to be refunded to the state governments.” She, however, noted that the Federal Government is still working out modalities before the implementation of the new allowance for corps members. She said, “The other aspect that should be clear is that there is an increase for the NYSC as well because NYSC, by its Act, is designed that they earn the minimum wage.” “So, NYSC allowance also has to be increased to N30, 000. So, I cannot give you projections right now because the negotiations are not yet concluded.”.

Though the reason for his action as culled out from facebook is mental health issue . he left a suicide note on his Facebook wall before taking a bottle of Snipper, he was rushed to UNN medical center before finally taken to University teaching hospital where he has been reported dead.  RIP bro Suicide is never the way out.

On Friday 10th May, 2019, Ugbe Dominic, a 200 level Student of the department of Guidance and Counseling, faculty of Education, Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Calabar Campus, lost his life in a pool party. The student died after consuming excessive water during a pool party which was said to be hosted by his department. The party took place at Jacaranda Hotel and suites, Calabar. By the time he was rushed to the hospital and medical examinations carried out the Obudu born had passed on, it was gathered. Shockingly, the institution have lost not fewer than four Students this semester. RIP to him.
